Biography
Eloi Ragot is a Film Composer, Multi-instrumentalist and Music Producer with a unique approach to creating intense, sensorial and immersive soundtracks.
His recent works include the original music for TV-Series LA TRÊVE (THE BREAK), which won the Best French-speaking Series Award at the Series Mania Festival 2016. The show was broadcast Prime Time on many channels and is now available worldwide on NETFLIX.
A second season is set to be released this fall 2018.
Last year, Eloi has been working on several projects including the first season of LUCAS ETC., another TV-Series produced by RTBF and broadcast on various European channels. A second season will also be released in November 2018.
Self-taught pianist and guitarist, Eloi is also a classically-trained trompeter and studied musical analysis and writing. Since 2008, he has composed, arranged and produced music for over 40 films for diverse production companies and TVs.
He was selected to several artist-in-residence programs (including the prestigious Berlinale Talent in 2017 and Emergence in 2015) and gave Masterclasses in festivals such as Soundtrack Cologne, Are You Series? and Festival International du Film Francophone de Namur (FIFF).
As a passionate Music Producer, Eloi likes to combine field recording, sampling, electronic and acoustic sounds and instruments to create exciting textures and soundscapes.
Eloi lives and works between Brussels, Paris and Berlin.
